Several features have just been added to the Crystal Blockchain platform including Tether (USDT) support.
1. Tether Added to Our Platform
We have added USDT to Crystal analytics! Tether support is now available as part of the Bitcoin (BTC) interface. It is important to note that this addition means some changes to the platform functions:
Explorer: On the entity/ address page, you can now check the amount of assets received (in bitcoin or Tether), as well as the balance of the entity/ address in fiat (USD or Euro). Both BTC and USDT are now considered when calculating a risk score, which makes our profiling capacities even stronger.
We have expanded the Connections feature to include Tether, so users can choose from five different currencies for analysis.
Visualization: Users will also be able to create visualizations with a Tether layer.
Our Monitor feature allows users to add transfers in Tether or bitcoin, so the risk can be assessed appropriately for the required cryptocurrency.
We have also added notifications for Tether and bitcoin in the Cases feature.
Further Upates:
2. Shortest Path (Our Latest Analytics Tool)
In All Connections, you will see the latest option — “shortest path.” This option will show the shortest transaction path to any named entity from the Connections list. Users can now also open a visualization of a path to the entity with one single click.
3. Site Status Check
Users can now check whether cryptocurrency support systems are operational, or if there are maintenance issues or power outages, in the site status check status.crystalblockchain.com.
4. Using “Fiat” instead of “USD”
We have updated our API endpoints and the term “USD” in the endpoints has been changed to “fiat”. Data is now displayed based on the fiat currency that you pre-select in your profile.
(Please note: these endpoint term changes will only affect those who use Crystal via API).
