BSV Support, Visualization Updates & Expanded Offchain Coverage

by the Crystal analytics team

In the latest product update, support for Bitcoin SV has been added to the platform, along with dashboard visualization improvements, and further expansion of offchain coverage.

BSV Coin Support

From this latest release, Crystal will support an additional currency, Bitcoin SV (BSV) which is currently in the top 25 by market capitalization at just over $4.2B.

Approximately 12k transactions per hour currently take place with BSV, and, on average, $7M worth of BSV coins are sent per hour. BSV has also had its fair share of misuse in illicit activities in recent years. In 2020, for example, KuCoin exchange was hacked for over $2.5M worth of BSV. All functionality, including Monitor, Explore, and Visualization, will be available for BSV coin.

Visualization

We have made significant improvements to our Visualization feature, giving increased functionality and a better overall user experience to our customers.

These improvements include:

  • Dragging and dropping groups of objects: from now on users can select multiple objects on the visualization and drag them all together.
  • Sharing the current position on the visualization: the “Share” button collects the coordinates of objects on the visualization.
  • Adding new objects to a selected area: now you can add new objects to any area of the Visualization canvas.

Expanded Offchain Coverage

We have expanded offchain coverage for all platform currencies, adding coverage of 735 new entities and 4.8 million new wallets on the Crystal analytics platform as of March 1, 2021.
