Crystal Light Version and Address Tagging

by the Crystal product team

Crystal clients can now use address tagging, investigative case sharing, and choose the lighter version of the analytics platform

Crystal Light for API

Crystal Light is now available for all Crystal API users. Any requests made through the Crystal API can be mirrored in the Monitor, so compliance teams can see alerts on a web interface as well.

Highlighting Addresses

Additional address highlighting capabilities have been released on the platform. As well as the inclusion of sanction lists published by regulators (i.e., the OFAC sanction list), you can now create your own custom lists. Any interactions with these addresses that are detected (ie. deposits or withdrawals), will automatically be highlighted and the user will be notified.

Introducing Tagging

(for blacklists, advanced searches, etc.)

Most of the addresses viewed on Crystal are attributed to a particular cluster (whether named or unnamed) and this identifies the publicly operating entity that manages the private keys for this address.

You can now assign a tag to a set of addresses located within a cluster according to your requirements — including blacklist tags, user ID tags, and more.

We will continue to add new tags. For a full updated list please refer to your account User Guide.

Advanced Searching

“Advanced Search” has been added as an option. Users can now search by blacklisted tags/labels, as well as by hashes or entity names.

This update will improve usability for compliance teams who need to be able to analyze activities extensively on the blockchain.

Case Sharing Option

Case sharing is now available, which allows your teams to share and co-manage cases. This update will be followed shortly by Corporate Accounts.

Get in touch if there are any features you’d like to suggest to the team, or if you’d like more information about the platform.
